NAU PV SYSTEM INFRASTRUCTURE
For this project, subsurface rock was encountered shortly into construction and required an adjustment to the approach. A value analysis revealed that importing fill using excess material on NAU’s campus was a far better economic choice than traditional rock excavation. Kinney Construction proceeded with the import of just over 15,000 cubic yards of material. NAU expanded our scope of work to include the installation of underground conduit, pull boxes, duct banks, and a high-voltage switch.
