DINE SOUTHWEST HIGH SCHOOL VISUAL ARTS CLASSROOM

Located in Seba Dalkai on the Navajo Indian Reservation, DINE Southwest High School is a charter high school that serves students from the Navajo Nation.  The 6,000 SF, stand-alone building features:

  • Administrative spaces
  • Flexible, open, and functional teaching and administrative spaces
  • Durable, easily maintainable facility
  • Energy-efficient MEP systems
  • Exposed colored concrete floors
  • Glazing systems and overhangs/shades to control solar heat gain year-round

KCS collaborated alongside Navajo Land Management, BIA, IHS, Fire Marshall, and Navajo County.
