Kinney Construction completed the earthwork and site utilities for the new Cultural Center.  The existing soils required mitigation in the form of 10,000 cubic yards of over-excavation, haul-off, and re-compaction of engineered fill.  The site utilities consisted of extending gas, fire line, domestic water, chilled water, steam lines, and a utility tunnel from on-campus infrastructure.  An intricate sewer bypass plan was executed with precision, allowing the relocation of the sewer line while keeping the surrounding buildings in service.
