NAU EXTENDED CAMPUSES FACILITY
KCS added an additional 24,812 SF to the NAU Communications Building. This new, LEED Gold Certified building has classrooms, faculty offices, and a new television studio. Renovations were to the office areas and the existing Master Control Room. Green building strategies utilized include:
- Active chilled beam
- Atrium
- Controlled daylighting
- Green screen living walls
- Regionally appropriate landscaping
- Solarwall
- Water efficiency
