DINE SOUTHWEST HIGH SCHOOL VISUAL ARTS CLASSROOM

Located in Seba Dalkai on the Navajo Indian Reservation, DINE Southwest High School is a charter high school that serves students from the Navajo Nation. The 6,000 SF, stand-alone building features:
- Administrative spaces
- Flexible, open, and functional teaching and administrative spaces
- Durable, easily maintainable facility
- Energy-efficient MEP systems
- Exposed colored concrete floors
- Glazing systems and overhangs/shades to control solar heat gain year-round
KCS collaborated alongside Navajo Land Management, BIA, IHS, Fire Marshall, and Navajo County.
