KOCH FIELD ROAD WIDENING & CAPE SEAL
The scope included pavement maintenance and drainage improvements along 6,450 LF of Koch Field Road with utility relocations. The project required extensive utility coordination in order to relocate and/or protect in-place fiber, communication, gas, and electrical lines. Work items included edge milling, removals, driveway construction, roadside ditch excavation, Cape Seal, shoulder build-up, hauling and stockpiling of the existing asphaltic concrete pavement millings, and installing new asphaltic concrete four-foot-wide shoulder pavement over new aggregate base course. The project also included water main replacement and vertical realignments, driveway and road culvert replacements, concrete barrier installation over the Rio de Flag, guard rail installation, and signing and striping.
