Kinney successfully completed street and utility improvements on Fountaine Street, located in the Southside neighborhood of Flagstaff. This project involved significant infrastructure upgrades aimed at enhancing the area’s utility systems and roadway conditions.
The work included the removal of 457 linear feet of sewer main and 23 sewer services, followed by the installation of 978 linear feet of 4-inch asphalt concrete over a 6-inch aggregate base. Additionally, 400 square yards of 3-inch asphalt concrete were removed and replaced, also supported by a 6-inch aggregate base.
Water line improvements featured the installation of 325 linear feet of 10-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) and 545 linear feet of 8-inch DIP. Sewer upgrades included the installation of 457 linear feet of 8-inch DIP sewer line. The project also involved the installation of various associated valves, bends, services, and hydrants, ensuring the comprehensive upgrade of both water and sewer infrastructure.
