Kinney successfully completed the civil construction scope for the new City of Flagstaff Municipal Courthouse, a prominent civic facility located in the heart of downtown Flagstaff. The project involved a comprehensive range of site development services, including demolition of existing site elements, site grading, earthwork, paving, and installation of new utility infrastructure to support the courthouse’s operations. Given the courthouse’s location within a designated floodplain, Kinney also executed critical drainage improvements as part of the civil scope. Working in a densely developed urban environment required heightened attention to site logistics, traffic coordination, and pedestrian safety. Kinney implemented rigorous safety protocols and maintained close coordination with city officials and stakeholders throughout construction to minimize disruptions in the downtown area.
