The City of Flagstaff’s Sheep’s Crossing project was a coordinated effort with multiple agencies that included the City of Flagstaff, Coconino County, ADOT, and the Forest Service. The crossing added a much-needed link in the approximately 56-mile loop of the current FUTS trail system. Work included approximately 2,000 CY of import fill material, 1,600 tons of cinder, 1,000 tons of decomposed granite, 200 CY of concrete walkway, and improvements to the existing drainage and retention basins. Kinney self-performed over 60% of the project scope.
