The Caring House at Gila River Health Care is a 100-bed facility providing specialized rehabilitative services. Kinney served as the GC responsible for converting select rooms into bariatric rooms to accommodate Gila River’s bariatric patients. Kinney’ scope of work included site and selective demolition, masonry, wood & plastic, thermal, insulation, doors & openings, finishes, specialties, equipment, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. Throughout the duration of the project, Kinney maintained proper ICRA barriers and procedures, separating construction activities from patients and staff. To minimize disruptions to occupants and staff, Kinney and all subcontractors worked within regular business hours to meet Gila River Health Care’s needs.
