Mountain Line Flagstaff Facility Expansion

The Mountain Line (NAIPTA) Facility Expansion project achieved Advanced Level Certification through Coconino County’s Sustainable Building Program.

Mountain Line’s Facility Expansion was designed and built to house Mountain Line’s fleet of transit buses and accommodate pre and post trip activities in an all-weather environment. The new facilities include a 25,000 SF bus storage space, fueling station, and bus washing facility. Kinney worked closely with Mountain Line to ensure ongoing transit operations were not affected during construction. The expansion was financed with federal assistance provided by the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT); in partnership with the City of Flagstaff. Kinney self-performed all earthwork and site utilities for this project.
