Kinney served as Design-Build Contractor for the Verde Valley Transit Facility in Cottonwood, Arizona. Mountain Line’s regional commitment to sustainability led to the incorporation of a 15 kW DC, grid-tied photovoltaic system as part of this project. The photovoltaic system was installed on the 13,500 SF bus shade structure, along with a total of 66 Solar World 230-watt modules. The system is designed to produce 100% of the facility’s energy consumption needs.
