TRAX Phase Site I Site Development

This project involved the development of new sites for Sportsman’s Warehouse and other retail locations, operating within the boundaries of ADOT, BNSF Railroad, and the City of Flagstaff, which required permits from all entities. The scope of work included mass earthwork, with over 55,000 cubic yards of material moved, as well as the installation of 1,750 linear feet of sewer main, 2,200 linear feet of storm drain, and 2,260 linear feet of main waterline. Additionally, Kinney completed 12,640 cubic yards of base and asphalt for roads and parking lots, over 7,000 linear feet of concrete sidewalks, curbing, and paving, and the installation of box culverts and CIP structures.

The project also featured underground storm retention systems, CMU retaining walls, and three-tiered entrance gabion walls. Further work included the construction of three new ADOT offsite turn lanes at 4th Street, along with onsite and offsite lighting packages and a four-way traffic signal system.
